Barco reinforces European leadership position with supply of 27 Digital Cinema projectors to XDC.

Barco D-Cine DP100 Barco has been chosen by XDC to supply a total of 27 Digital Cinema projectors for installation reinforcing Barco’s leadership position within the Digital Cinema sector. The latest deal with XDC, with whom Barco is the leading supplier, includes 21 DP90 and 6 DP100 projectors. XDC is a global end-to-end digital cinema delivery company and leads pan-European digital cinema deployment with more than 200 installed digitized cinema theaters in Europe. Recognized as a worldwide reference in Digital Cinema, Barco’s DP90 and DP100 projectors are based on Texas Instruments’ DLP Cinema™ technology and ensure optimum performance and reliability through their integrated light path and digital processing. The Barco projectors were chosen because of their high quality and reliability. Bernard Collard, General Manager of XDC stated that “Barco are the industry experts in Digital Cinema.
