Doremi Servers Provide 3D Playback in over 390 REAL D Theaters For Disney's Animated Feature "Meet the Robinsons"
Doremi Cinema's number one installed Cinema Server the DCP-2000 is also the most requested 3D server. The DCP-2000 provided 3D playback on nearly 81% of REAL D theaters for the March 30th opening weekend of Disney's animated feature "Meet the Robinsons".

Doremi's DCP-2000 is the most installed cinema server with over 2,700 screens worldwide. The DCP-2000 can play both 2D and 3D content, which provides the exhibitor with maximum flexibility.

"Doremi is a trusted server provider and one of the key partners in the rollout of REAL D Digital 3D Cinema," stated Joshua Greer, president of REAL D. "We're looking forward to even more deployments with Doremi and our other equipment partners to continue the phenomenal growth of the platform."

Michael Archer, VP of Sales at Doremi, adds "Doremi Cinema is proud to be part of REAL D's premier 3D platform and to have provided the majority of their installed cinema servers. We will continue to work closely with REAL-D as they expand on what is already the world's largest 3D platform."

"Doremi understood from the start that digital cinema technology will help bring 3D to the mainstream. That is why we made sure that every installed DCP-2000 cinema server can play both 2D and 3D movie files."

Doremi's continued leadership in installations both for 2D and 3D applications underscores the reliability and consistency of the DCP-2000 server to provide both the highest quality JPEG2000 images and the highest levels of security sought by the major studios to protect their content.

Doremi Cinema continues to add advanced features to the DCP-2000 to keep it comfortably ahead of the competition. Some of these features included 3D playback, CineLink II strong link encryption, and Thomson's NexGuard and Philips' CineFence forensic watermarking.
